Living in Oak Creek Canyon
The 1990 map, Tract 3666-2, laid out the larger lots on Rabbit Creek Lane, Gentle Creek Circle, Doe Creek Circle and part of Mountain Creek Drive. In 1996 a large part of that map was redrawn as Tract 4950, together with a small 1987 tract next door, and the smaller lots along Maurice Drive and nearby blocks come from that version. Houses in both tracts run roughly 2,200 to 3,400 square feet.
The Oak Creek Canyon HOA, managed by Gold Coast Association Management, covers both tracts. Potrero Ridge open space runs along the southern edge, Dos Vientos open space lies just to the west, and Cypress Elementary is a short walk away. Every lot falls inside a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone on CAL FIRE's 2025 map, which matters for brush clearance and insurance.
