Schools

Schools and attendance areas

Which public schools serve an address, the attendance-area maps the districts publish, and how each district handles enrollment, school choice and transfers.

Check an address

Which schools serve an address?

Type a street address anywhere in the region. Answers come from each district's own boundary map or street list, never from guesses, and every answer links the district's locator so you can confirm it.

Attendance areas as each district publishes them; dashed lines are district boundaries. Oak Park, Pleasant Valley and Moorpark don't publish attendance-area maps, so their areas are shaded whole. Point at an area for its name, or tap anywhere for the schools there.

How assignment works

Before you rely on a school

Districts assign schools by home address. They also adjust boundaries and run school choice, magnet, lottery and transfer programs, each with its own deadlines; the district pages above cover them.

On this site, neighborhood and tract pages name attendance areas only when a district publishes them as a map or a street list, and they say which one. A tract page names a school only when its recorded county tract outline falls inside one attendance area, or when every street listed for it is on the district's list for one school. Elsewhere the pages list nearby schools, which isn't the same as assigned.

Before you buy, rent or enroll, enter the full address in the district's own locator and confirm with the district office.

About the data

Where the boundary data comes from

  • CVUSD: CVUSD's attendance-boundary map (updated July 27, 2026).
  • LVUSD: LVUSD's attendance-boundary map (updated October 22, 2025).
  • OPUSD: OPUSD's elementary street list (2017).
  • SVUSD: SVUSD's attendance-boundary map (elementary map revised December 2023).
  • PVSD: PVSD's Tract Code Book (2025-26 columns).
  • OUHSD: OUHSD's attendance-boundary map for 2026-27 (layer last edited September 7, 2023).
  • Moorpark USD: no published maps or street lists; its locator sits behind bot protection, so this site links it and names only Moorpark High, its comprehensive high school.
  • District lines and campuses: California Department of Education, California School District Areas 2025-26; California Department of Education, California Public Schools 2025-26.

The checker places a typed address with the US Census Bureau's geocoder, which estimates a home's position along its street; near a boundary line it says so. Boundary data checked October 19, 2026.
