Living in Rancho Conejo Village
The community was recorded as 20 units of Tract 4366 plus Tracts 4858 and 4944; in 2003, Tract 5342 replaced unit 4366-7 and part of 4366-3. Homes run from about 1,400 square feet to 5,400-square-foot houses on the Arroyo View Street estate lots, which mostly filled in during the 2010s. Real estate sub-names such as Terraza I, Cambria and Executive I and II seem to follow Shapell plan series more than map lines.
One association, the Rancho Conejo Village HOA, covers every tract, and the city lists Gold Coast Association Management as its manager. Interior streets are private behind gated entrances, and the association has two pools. A trailhead at the Rancho Conejo Playfield, on the southeast corner, leads into the Arroyo Conejo toward Hill Canyon.
The lay of the land
Tile-roofed tract homes on a gently sloping mesa that once held the Rancho Conejo Airport, with private streets, two association pools and trail access into the Arroyo Conejo. Most of the community lies in a Very High fire hazard severity zone on the city's March 2025 map; the southern streets near Camino Dos Rios are mapped High or Moderate.
Real estate sub-names used inside the community (Executive I, Executive II, Terraza I, Cambria, Village Homes) don't follow tract boundaries, so the tract pages here follow the recorded maps. Two similarly named groups in the city's HOA records are unrelated: the disbanded Rancho Conejo HOA (Tract 2714, south of US 101) and the Village Homes POA elsewhere in Thousand Oaks.
