About

Living in Montaire

Indian Pointe and Indian Terrace drives wind across the slope, and short cul-de-sacs branch off them: Peace Pipe, Piuma, Maidu, Yana, Yurok, Karoc and Yokuts courts. County assessor data shows the same six house sizes repeated throughout the tract, from about 2,900 to 4,200 square feet. Most lots are between a seventh and a quarter acre, and a handful of larger parcels sit on the hillside edges.

The Montaire Community Homeowners' Association covers the neighborhood, and Transparency HOA lists Ross Morgan & Company as its manager. Chumash Park and the Chumash Trail are just beyond the tract off Flanagan Drive. White Oak Elementary and Simi Valley High School are among the nearby public schools.
