About

Living in The Colony

The homes stand in duplex buildings along four colonial-themed streets: Old Colony Way, Lexington Way, Minute Man Way and Flintlock Lane. The map carved the roughly 20-acre site from a larger 1978 tract while the land was still unincorporated county territory. Assessor records list two- and three-bedroom plans of about 1,400 to 1,760 square feet, and a local agent's profile describes every plan as tri-level.

Residents share a pool, spa and tennis court, and that profile puts monthly dues at about $560. The Shoppes at Westlake and the lake are a short drive away. Freeway noise reaches some units more than others, so it is worth a visit at rush hour.
