Living in Summershore
The homes are modest in size. County assessor records list 62 two-bedroom and 22 three-bedroom units, all with two baths and roughly 1,100 to 1,365 square feet. The land was mapped while it was still unincorporated Los Angeles County territory. It was set up as a condominium project, so owners share the common grounds instead of each holding a separate lot.
Those grounds are a big part of daily life here. Greenbelts run between the buildings, along with a pond, a fountain and a small brook, and open space behind the community draws deer to the back fences. Westlake Plaza and the Promenade are a few minutes away by car.
