About

Living in Signature Collection

The houses are big. County records put most of them between about 4,000 and 5,700 square feet, in a few repeating plan sizes, and most lots run from a third of an acre to just under half an acre. A local agent describes four- and five-bedroom layouts and notes that many yards are small next to the houses. The Signature Collection @ North Pointe HOA, managed by Community Property Management, covers all three tracts.

The community is inside Thousand Oaks city limits, though addresses read Westlake Village 91362. Most streets are in City Council District 3, but Allyson Court and the south end of Rainfield Avenue are in District 4. Nearby public schools include Lang Ranch Elementary and Los Cerritos Middle.

The lay of the land

Large homes from 2000–2003 behind gates, built in a handful of repeating floor plans, across North Westlake Boulevard from Sapwi Trails park

Despite the "North Pointe" in the association's name, North Pointe is a separate gated tract across Westlake Boulevard (Tracts 4394-1 and 4394-4) with its own association. Homes here are in Thousand Oaks city limits but use Westlake Village 91362 mailing addresses.
