About

Living in Sterling Oaks Ranch

Golden Eagle Drive runs along the western edge between Lindero Canyon and Kanan roads, but no house has a driveway onto it. Homes sit on short side streets: Sterling Oaks Court, White Pine Court, Cardinal Way, Admiral Court, Golden Nugget Way, Sassafras Way and the top of Covewood Street. County assessor records show mostly four plan sizes, about 2,630 to 3,410 square feet, on lots that typically run around 9,000 square feet. The tract maps dedicated the streets to the county as public roads, and there is no gate.

The Sterling Oaks HOA is on the Oak Park Fire Safe Council's list of local associations, and agent guides put dues at roughly $130 to $150 a month. The Rock Ridge Trail has trailheads on Golden Eagle Drive and Golden Nugget Way. Oak Hills Elementary, Medea Creek Middle and Oak Park High are the nearby Oak Park Unified schools.
