Living in Shadow Oaks
County parcel records list 80 units at ten addresses of eight homes each, in two sizes: 1,204 and 1,236 square feet. Agent guides describe every home as a two-bedroom plan with a bath for each bedroom. An association, which agent guides call the Shadow Oaks HOA, cares for the grounds and a shared pool and spa. Those guides put dues at roughly $600 to $700 a month. The community is not gated.
The tract was carved from one lot of the earlier Tract 3887-2. It borders Country Vista on the south, and Rolling Hills Estates is close by. Agent guides sometimes call it a smaller sister to Shadow Ridge, but Shadow Ridge is a separate, much larger complex in north-central Oak Park. Red Oak Elementary, Medea Creek Middle and Oak Park High are nearby.
