Legacy Collection

The Legacy Collection is a gated neighborhood of larger homes in the northern part of Sycamore Canyon Village, on Chippendale Avenue, Heath Meadow Place, Twillin Court and Larchmont Street, with keypad gates at Larchmont and Turnbury streets. It is also called Legacy Estates. It lies within Tract 4053, recorded in August 1988, and county records date the homes to 1990 through 1994.

The houses are two-story plans of about 3,000 to 4,100 square feet, with a few larger, on lots of about a quarter acre. Home sales name a sport court, tennis courts, a playground and picnic areas among the shared amenities. The eight homes on adjoining Heath Meadow Court were mapped separately as Tract 4563.

Wood Ranch, Simi Valley

Wood Ranch is the master-planned community in Simi Valley's southwest corner, laid out around the private Wood Ranch Golf Club. Olympia/Roberts Co., whose general partner was Robert Levenstein's Roberts Group, recorded the first tract maps in 1983, and most homes went up between 1985 and 2000. Outside Long Canyon, county records count about 2,550 for-sale homes, plus several apartment communities.
