New Horizons
New Horizons is the subdivision name used in local home sales for the mid-1970s homes on the south side of Arcane Street near First Street, including Hudson Court, Waltham Road, Waltham Circle, Catlin Court and Catlin Circle. County records show two adjoining 1975 tracts, 2005-1 and 2005-2, with about 79 homes built in 1976.
Partly documented: residents and listings use this name, but official records are thin. Corrections are especially welcome.

Calgind, Inc. is the owner on both maps. County records list the houses as one-story, mostly about 1,350 to 1,700 square feet, on lots of mostly 6,900 to 8,500 square feet, and there is no HOA. These homes are more than a decade newer than most of the surrounding Hollow Hills tracts, and Royal High School is a few blocks northeast.

County records show more than 30 tract maps and about 2,200 homes, most built from 1961 to 1976 for subdividers such as Maiden-Fair Company, Family Realty Corp. and partnerships tied to Cavalier Construction Co.
