Living in Lexington Hills
The streets are private. The 1982 map labeled them Manor Circle and Knob Lane, but today's addresses are on Nightsky Drive, Lexington Hills Drive, Crestline Drive, Ripple Creek Lane and River Run Drive. Lots of about five acres sit low, near Moorpark Road, and parcels of 20 acres or more climb the slope along Nightsky, Crestline and River Run. One 1997 house on nearly 21 acres, offered for sale in 2026, has a lighted riding arena and a six-stall barn.
The homeowners association dates back to the original tract, and its CC&Rs took on upkeep of a county flood-control easement. The association's architectural committee reviews new structures. In 2022 the advisory council recommended approving a new garage on Nightsky Drive only after that committee signed off. Sales records from 2026 show dues of $900 a month. Homes here are often marketed as part of Camarillo's Mission Oaks area, but they are inside the Santa Rosa Valley census area and the Pleasant Valley School District. Trash pickup comes from G.I. Disposal, not E.J. Harrison, which serves the central valley.
