Marlborough Country North

Marlborough Country North is the common name for Tract 2723, 83 homes between the east end of Charles Street and Los Angeles Avenue. They sit on Lucille Circle and the Hedyland, Sir George and Warren cul-de-sacs. Elga Enterprises recorded the map in September 1979, while the area was unincorporated, and county records date the houses to 1982 and 1984.

Partly documented: residents and listings use this name, but official records are thin. Corrections are especially welcome.

Part of

Downtown Moorpark, Moorpark

Downtown Moorpark is the city's original town center. It runs from Charles Street and the High Street rail station south across Los Angeles Avenue to the Arroyo Simi. The townsite was mapped beside the railroad in 1900, and the area filled in over the next century, from early cottages and 1950s tract streets to condo complexes and small-lot communities built since 2000.
