About Tract 1206
Both maps carve lots out of Parcel B of the 1928 amended map of the Town of Santa Susana, and the county approved them years before the city existed. Lots run about 8,000 square feet, and assessor records show houses of roughly 1,125 to 1,800 square feet. Woodvale Homes, Inc., whose maps carry the same company officers and engineer, built out the blocks to the east as Tract 1207. Part of the first unit's Workman Avenue frontage was re-mapped in 1973 as East Tapo.
