Countryside

Countryside covers the 'grove' and 'hollow' streets of Tract 4140 in south-central Mountain Meadows. They include Cherry Grove Street, Beechgrove Court, London Grove Court and Alder Grove Street, plus the Little, Pine, Misty and Sandy Hollow cul-de-sacs. UWC-Moorpark Investors recorded its six units on June 30, 1986, and most of the 199 homes were done in 1987 and 1988.

The homes are two-story and mostly 2,460 to 3,030 square feet, on fairly large lots of about 6,500 to 10,700 square feet. Home sales on Cherry Grove Street give the subdivision as Countryside/Mtn. Meadows and the association as Mountain Meadows Countryside II, with dues around $240 a month and a clubhouse. Quail Ridge lies just to the west.

Mountain Meadows, Moorpark

Mountain Meadows is one of Moorpark's largest neighborhoods, with about 2,400 homes in the southwest part of the city between the Arroyo Simi and the city limits, on both sides of Tierra Rejada Road. Ventura County approved it as a 2,500-unit planned community, PC-3, before Moorpark became a city in 1983. UWC-Moorpark Investors recorded the tract maps from 1983 to 1995, and the houses went up from 1984 to 1998.
