About Texas Avenue Homes
These houses came more than a decade after the original Texas streets, once Simi Valley had become a city. Jack Rosenberg, who had signed for most of the companies behind Simi Hills Estates next door, signed as JBR's president. Assessor records show mostly two plans of about 1,820 and 1,890 square feet, plus a smaller 1,470-square-foot plan, on lots of about 8,000 to 10,800 square feet.
