Morrison Ranch South is the western and southern part of Morrison Ranch, from Reyes Adobe Road east to the Tenneyson Drive area, just above Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Morrison Associates filed Tracts 33405 and 33406 in 1981 and Tract 31768 in 1985, and about 410 houses went up from 1983 to 1987.

A separate western area covers Tract 33405 and the western part of Tract 33406 (Middle Crest, Ridgebrook, Green Meadow, Hempstead, Willowtree and Rolling Ridge drives). Tenneyson Dr, Meadowmist Way, Woodbrook Dr, Ironwood Dr, Rista Dr and Emerson Ct fall inside the main ranch area. The tract maps set aside common landscape lots for the association. Nearly all have four bedrooms and about 3,000 to 3,400 square feet, in one- and two-story plans on lots of roughly 8,000 to 15,000 square feet. They line Middle Crest, Ridgebrook, Green Meadow and Hempstead drives and the courts off them. The association's goat herd has grazed the slopes near Rolling Ridge and Ridgebrook. The Tract 33406 map set aside a lot for a public park. Morrison Park, a city park with a basketball court and an inclusive playground, is on Forest Cove Lane at the south edge.
