Morrison Highlands

Morrison Highlands sits on the ridge in the middle of Morrison Ranch, along Laro Drive, Grey Rock Road, Bertrand and Castlehill drives and a string of short courts. The Tract 33410 and 33411 maps set aside common-area lots and make each lot owner a member of the Morrison Ranch Estates Homeowners Association. The General Plan notes that the Highlands include deed-restricted open space held by the homeowners association. Recent home sales in the Highlands show dues of $85 a month, while other sections show other amounts, such as $225 a quarter or $45 a month in Morrison Ranch South, so confirm current dues with the association.

The city's General Plan lists the Morrison Highlands among Agoura Hills' main ridgelines and notes deed-restricted open space held by the association. The streets are public and ungated. Some real-estate sites stretch the name to cover neighboring Tracts 33403, 33409 and 33401, about 485 homes in all, but homes sold under the Morrison Highlands name are in these two tracts.

Morrison Ranch is a planned community of about 1,225 detached homes on the rolling land north of Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Reyes Adobe and Kanan roads, reaching north to the Oak Park line. Morrison Associates, a California limited partnership, filed its ten tract maps between 1978 and 1985, and the houses went up from 1979 to 1988.
