About Arroyo Vista

Opening prices in the high $600,000s had reached the low $700,000s by May 2016. KB built to Energy Star standards, and the Acorn described Spanish, French and Tuscan exteriors with solar panels. Most houses line Almond Lane, Apple Court, Pear Court and White Bark Lane, on lots of about 6,000 to 9,000 square feet. The last blocks filled in from 2020 to 2022: southern White Bark Lane and the lots around the Aspen Street models on Purple Sage Lane and Buckbrush Court. About 21 larger houses (3,168 to 4,108 square feet) went up among them, and no public source names their builder.

The Woodlands is the master-planned neighborhood in Runkle Canyon, at the south end of Sequoia Avenue in southern Simi Valley. Runkle Canyon LLC, a joint venture of KB Home and Lennar, recorded its four tract maps in 2015. About 298 detached houses went up between 2016 and about 2022, beginning with KB Home's Arroyo Vista, whose model homes opened in January 2016.
