About Stonegate (Fletcher)

A.B.C. Investment Co., a general partnership, filed both maps on part of the former Appleton ranch, and Paramount Engineering Co. prepared them. The Simi Valley Historical Society credits the Griffin Company with building Stonegate, and county records date nearly every house to 1964. Four plans repeat through the tract: one-story homes of about 1,040, 1,244 and 1,323 square feet, and a two-story of about 1,638 square feet that makes up a little over half the houses. Lots are mostly 7,100 to 10,300 square feet, the streets are public, and home sales show no HOA dues. Mountain View Elementary is just north on Fletcher Street.
