Campus Park East is the oldest part of Campus Park: 144 single-story houses on Stanford, Amherst, Hartford and Harvard streets and the Cornell, Creighton, Pepperdine and Vassar circles, east of Princeton Avenue. The maps were filed in 1969 and 1972, and all the homes were built in 1973 and 1974.

Campus Park, Ltd., a partnership run by Metropolitan Development Corporation, filed the 1972 map, and the neighborhood's name traces to it. University Park, Ltd. filed the two 1969 maps. The houses are modest plans of about 830 to 1,430 square feet on lots of roughly 6,500 to 8,600 square feet. In home sales, these streets go by Campus Park (E).

Campus Park, Moorpark
Campus Park is the group of tracts around Moorpark College in the city's northeast corner, between SR-118 and the hills. The name traces to Campus Park, Ltd., which filed one of the first maps in 1972. Developers including Metropolitan Development, Alvin Dick's Varsity Park companies and Griffin Homes built more than 1,900 homes here between 1973 and 1997.
