About

About Thistlebery Hill

Two additions followed in July 1923 and February 1924. Lots are small by Sherwood standards, mostly a quarter to a third of an acre, and the assessor lists about 95 houses, most of them 1,200 to 5,100 square feet. The developer describes the lanes as having old-fashioned charm, and new houses keep arriving: a lakefront home of about 15,000 square feet on Lower Lake Road was listed as 2026 construction. Residents come in through the Sherwood gates off Potrero Road, the Stafford Gate among them.
