Plompton Tract

About

About Plompton Tract

Surveyor Gerald C. FitzGerald laid out the lots in April 1923 for landowner F. W. Matthiessen Jr. In 1959, lots 21 through 40 on the tract's western arm were combined into a parcel of about seven acres and excluded from the tract. Much of that ground now lies within the later Tract 4191 and 4192 maps. About a dozen houses stand on the remaining lots, most of a third to half an acre.
