Southridge Trails is the ridgetop section of Westlake Trails, with 79 homes on Ridgeford Drive, Canterhill Place and lower Glenbridge Road. Los Angeles County recorded its 80-lot map, Tract 29005, in October 1971 for the Westlake Village partnership of American-Hawaiian Steamship Company and Prudential. Most houses were built in 1978 and 1979.

Westlake Trails is a hillside neighborhood of about 195 mostly custom homes southeast of Westlake Lake, off Lindero Canyon Road in the City of Westlake Village. The American-Hawaiian Steamship Company, the community's original developer, recorded the main tract in 1967, and most houses went up during the 1970s. Southridge Trails, on the ridge above, adds 79 more homes.
