Oak View Ranch is the western section of Forest Cove: about 197 detached homes on roughly 41 acres between the Cedarhaven Drive homes on Reyes Adobe Road and Forest Cove Park. It runs from Amelia Drive near Thousand Oaks Boulevard south toward Canwood Street and was built from 1982 to 1987.

About Oak View Ranch

Three tract maps recorded in 1980 make it up. Tracts 36746 and 36749 cover Alfredo, Evita and Adelina courts, Amelia Drive, the north part of Micaela Drive and the east end of Rainbow Crest Drive, and they filled in during 1983 and 1984. Tract 36747, on Alfonso and Luis drives, the south end of Micaela and more of Rainbow Crest, followed mostly in 1985–87. Most homes are 2,100 to 2,800 sq ft with three or four bedrooms, on lots of about 5,000 to 8,500 sq ft. The streets are public, and part of Forest Cove Park sits on a lot from Tract 36749. Nextdoor folds the area into its larger Reyes Adobe East neighborhood.

Forest Cove is this guide's name for the four homeowner communities around Forest Cove Park in Agoura Hills, between Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Canwood Street. Oak View Ranch, Oak View Gardens, Chateau Park and Chateau Creek hold about 820 homes on eleven county tract maps, built between 1981 and 1990. The name comes from the park and Forest Cove Lane, not from any association.
