Oak View Gardens is a 172-home cluster community on about 27 acres north of Canwood Street, between Alfonso Drive and the Chateau Park townhomes. Most of it went up in 1988 and 1989 on Tract 31319, recorded in 1984. The 18 homes of Tract 33690 on Mark Court followed in 1989.

Forest Cove is this guide's name for the four homeowner communities around Forest Cove Park in Agoura Hills, between Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Canwood Street. Oak View Ranch, Oak View Gardens, Chateau Park and Chateau Creek hold about 820 homes on eleven county tract maps, built between 1981 and 1990. The name comes from the park and Forest Cove Lane, not from any association.
