Wildflower

Wildflower is the late-1970s section of Wildwood. It includes Sundance, Raindance and Moondance Streets, Fort Courage Avenue and a cluster of flower-named streets and courts on both sides of the north end of Lynn Road. W.R. Grace Properties recorded eight tract units from 1976 to 1978, and about 425 houses went up between 1976 and 1979.

Listings show no HOA dues, and the city holds landscape easements on lots along Lynn Road and Avenida de los Arboles. Wildflower Playfield is on Avenida de los Arboles at the south edge.

Wildwood is the northwest corner of Thousand Oaks, laid out along Avenida de los Arboles between Lynn Road and Wildwood Regional Park. Potrero Homes recorded the first tract map in 1967, and Wm. Lyon Development Co. followed in the 1970s. Most of the roughly 1,500 single-family houses went up between 1968 and 1979, and about 200 condominiums stand alongside them.
