About

About Second Unit

The community history site dates the second unit to 1968 and says a later 'third unit' on Pinion and Joshua brought Oak Park's first two-story plans. That was a sales phase on this same map. The county's Tract 1873-3 is Sabra Avenue, west of Kanan. County records show 54 two-story houses, almost all on Bayberry, Joshua and Pinion, among single-story plans of about 1,600 to 2,000 square feet. Lots run about 6,900 to 9,200 square feet, most houses are listed as built in 1970, and there is no homeowners association.
