About

About Hillcrest Pointe

Churchwood Drive runs in from Kanan Road past Oak Hills Elementary, with Kellwood and El Retiro courts off it. Monteleone Avenue links the Churchwood loop to Los Arcos Drive, and Myrtle Court branches off Monteleone. The floor plans repeat those in Hillcrest Estates, and the roughly 2,380-square-foot model is the most common. CAL FIRE records show the 2018 Woolsey Fire destroyed seven homes here and damaged 15 more. In spring 2022 a homeowner whose house was badly damaged organized goat grazing on roughly 14 to 17 acres of park-district hillside north of Churchwood Drive, with help from neighbors and Oak Park High students. As of 2023, residents and the park district hoped to repeat it each year.
