The map laid out home lots along a realigned stretch of Lake Sherwood Drive and David Lane, set aside two open-space parcels, and runs north to Potrero Road. Houses are about 3,600 to 5,200 square feet. Listings for 210 and 224 Lake Sherwood Dr, built in 2002 and 2003, describe lakefront homes with private docks and a quarterly association fee. Land on the uphill side of the drive was re-mapped in 1999 as Tract 4779, now the Baybrook, Rosemont and Stonecreek courts of The Glen at Sherwood.

Lake Sherwood Drive, Lake Sherwood & Hidden Valley
Lake Sherwood Drive is the ungated lakeside neighborhood of unincorporated Lake Sherwood: about 80 homes on the lake's north shore, along a public county road that runs east from Fire Station 33 at Stafford Road. Landowner F. W. Matthiessen Jr. recorded its first lots in 1923, and the houses have gone up one by one in the decades since.
