Regency Hills

Regency Hills is the eastern, earlier half of the Deerhill Road hillside. Its two tract maps, Tract 4517 units 1 and 2, were recorded in May 1996 at the request of Pardee Construction Company, which held an option on the land, and a county aerial from April 2000 shows all 147 homes finished.

The houses are two-story, about 2,440 to 3,640 square feet by county assessor records, and a Regency floor-plan set shows four plans with room for five or six bedrooms. The streets are Deerbrook Road, Ellesmere Way, Lambourne Place, Ballantine Place, Marquis Court and Normandy. The 1996 map kept a lot of just over 7 acres as open space, and Regency Hills shares one homeowners association with Chambord.

Chambord and Regency Hills share the hillside at the top of Deerhill Road in north Oak Park. Pardee Construction Company recorded the four tract maps in 1996 and 1998, and 315 houses went up from the late 1990s through 2002: Regency Hills on the east side first, then Chambord to the west, the last homes built in Oak Park.
