Newbury Hills II

Newbury Hills II is the second, smaller phase of the Newbury Hills condominiums: 58 homes just east of phase one, where Alessandro Drive branches off Ramona Drive. The City Council approved its final map, Tract 2165-2, in January 1973, and city parcel records date the units to 1974.

About Newbury Hills II

Larry Sade signed this map too, and the same Ventura engineering firm prepared it. Most addresses are on Alessandro Drive, and ten are on Ramona Drive. Floor plans are larger than in phase one: assessor records give about 860 to 1,330 square feet, and most units are near 1,140 or 1,330. Both streets are public. Four lots the city declined to take as streets remain private drives. The phase has its own association, and Marlborough Hills, a larger condominium tract recorded in 1977, adjoins it along both streets.

Newbury Hills is a two-phase complex of 141 condominiums on Ramona and Alessandro drives in Newbury Park, just east of Ventu Park Road and south of Newbury Road. Landowner Larry Sade had the final maps recorded in 1971 and 1973, and city parcel records give construction years of 1972 and 1974 for the two phases.
