About

About Tract 4081

The 110-acre map was drawn on lots of the 1895 Vallette Tract. It shows Turfway Road and Alysheba Drive as private streets, and the city declined the offer to dedicate them. The lots along Grimes Canyon Road gave up direct access to that road. County records show homes on 19 of the 21 lots, with about 3,200 to 7,600 square feet of living space, and most of the properties also have outbuildings.

School attendance areas

Moorpark Unified School District
From MUSD's list of schools:

  • Elementary and middle: MUSD publishes attendance areas only through its online locator
  • High: Moorpark High School (The district's only comprehensive high school; MUSD publishes no high school boundary, and The High School at Moorpark College admits by application)

These come from the district's own data, not from this site. Assignment goes by address, and districts change boundaries and run choice and transfer programs. Confirm with MUSD School Locator, or check an address here.

It filled in lot by lot. Homes on Darlene Lane and Elwin Street date mostly from the late 1960s to the 1980s, and Colmer Development Company recorded a 21-lot tract of five-acre parcels in 1990.
