Southshore Hills (Tract 3258)
Tract 3258 is the newest part of Southshore Hills: about 56 homes on the 2000 and 2100 blocks of Glastonbury Road, Goldenrod Court, Tanbark Court and a short stretch of Channelford Road. The Prudential Insurance Company of America, a partner in the Westlake Village development, recorded it in two units, in June 1980 and October 1981.

About Southshore Hills (Tract 3258)
County building records date the houses to 1981 through 1986. The eight homes in the second unit, mostly on Tanbark Court, date from 1985. Both maps say building permits here required allotments under the residential growth-control ordinance the city adopted by initiative in 1980. Homes run about 2,100 to 4,200 square feet on lots with a median near 17,000 square feet. The city's HOA map shows no association for the tract. The streets are public, and Southshore Hills Park is on Tanbark Court.

Southshore Hills is a hillside neighborhood of about 320 single-family homes southwest of Westlake Lake, on the Thousand Oaks side of Westlake Village. The companies behind the Westlake Village plan recorded it as three tracts: the original in 1968, with homes built in 1970; Southshore Hills West in 1971, built mostly from 1974 to 1976; and a Glastonbury Road section in 1980–81, built through 1986.
