Chatsworth Lake View Annex
Chatsworth Lake View Annex is the May 1926 subdivision map behind most of Lake Manor's Ventura County side. Civil engineer T. S. Davy surveyed it, and it was recorded in Book 17, pages 10 to 12, of the county's Miscellaneous Records. It laid out a grid of about 780 small lots along the Los Angeles County line.

About Chatsworth Lake View Annex
Amos F. and Helen B. Mortimer signed as owners, along with other owners and Pacific Southwest Trust & Savings Bank. Most lots were 70 to 80 feet wide and 75 to 100 feet deep. Homes were built one lot at a time. Today the county maps about 430 parcels inside the map's boundary, and about 80 of them have buildings. A 2003 certificate of correction fixed the dimensions of several lots.

Lake Manor, Simi Valley
Lake Manor is a small unincorporated community in the rocky Simi Hills, where Box Canyon Road reaches the Los Angeles County line above Chatsworth. Its Ventura County side grew from Chatsworth Lake View Annex, a subdivision map recorded in May 1926 with Amos F. and Helen B. Mortimer among its owners of record. The map laid out about 780 small lots. About 80 parcels inside it have buildings today.
